I am in the market for a sedan and would like some opinions on which is a better vehicle. I am considering the Audi A4 3.0L, Infinity G35 or a '03-'04 5 series (530i or 540i) or maybe something comparable to these picks. I need a little more room now that we have a little one to tote around (Hopefully I can pass my ti down to him and keep it in the family). Any comments? Thanx. __________________ '96 Active, Boston Green Future mods:Front lipspoiler, cold air intake by Otto Racing, Hartge Rear Wing spoiler, Smoke Grey Birdseye maple wood trim kit. | | | 05-04-2006, 05:11 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Tacompton, WA Posts: 309 | Quote: Originally Posted by Dusty I am in the market for a sedan and would like some opinions on which is a better vehicle. The 525 and 530 are supposed to be much better. You may also want to consider the Acura TSX the handling is supposed to be excellent. | | | 05-04-2006, 05:58 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: Potomac, Maryland Posts: 230 | Quote: Originally Posted by Dusty I am in the market for a sedan and would like some opinions on which is a better vehicle. Thanx. | Personally, i would go with the 5 Series due to the fact that it probobly has the most room, my dad has an 04' G35 X that is hard to fit in the back, i've seen the inside of the back of an A4, but i've never been in it, so i wouldnt know. + I think BMW are just sweet all around, so i'd probobly get that | | | 05-04-2006, 06:01 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: Potomac, Maryland Posts: 230 | Quote: Originally Posted by snwbrdrbum10 Go with the INFINITY G35.. For a tall person like myslef, the steering wheel didnt go veryu high even with the seat all the way back, it sits on my knees. Its a nice ride though, if your really interested, go for it! But be aware, brakes go quickly and its a gas guzzler | | | 05-04-2006, 09:57 PM | #10 | Moderator Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Bouncing off the rev limiter in CT! Posts: 3,156 | Get the 540 with the sport package (6-speed) if you can find one (check Roundel ads). If you like the feel of the ti, you will be disappointed with the Audi's handling. I think it's just not as good as the BMW's (provided they both have equal condition suspension- if the Audi is new, and the BMW has 80K miles, the Audi may feel better). I'm planning to go for the older M5. I saw a blue one at the dealer last week, but did not ask the price. I prefer the black- debadged.
