Mine is sound---NOW!--- i JUST put 2 thousand dollars worth of parts in her and all i can see that she needs is a knock sensor. After that i say 150k more miles! But its such a good offer!

Looking at this only from the "sales negotiation" angle... unless you're very motivated to sell the car quickly, why accept the first offer? If you love the car and would prefer to keep it, hold out for that "offer you can't refuse." Hopefully you'll get enough money to buy another 318ti to fix up. :-)

On the othr hand.....9,500 is a great offer for a car with 150k, even for a clubsport. For that money you can find another ti with less miles and probably a rare '99 model. Think about it.....
9,500 plus a few thousand dollarscan get you a "decent" 96-97 M3.
Good luck!!

a 99 isn't rare...it's just the final US year for the car. Sales were dropping so they did import many of the models. Still sideairbags, TC/ASC, M44B19 ODB II are enough to keep me away from the 99 Sports, as well as most 96-99 Ti/BMWs in general.

The 200 Club Sports are rare.
the 150 94 M techs are rare
The M3 LTW are rare

For 10K you can get a e30 M3.

I completely agree PANZER! My last decision is to go with a BMW made after 95. I love obd1 and have all the scan tools. I love how easy they are to tune and my 95 m3 ate every m3 i found except for the e-46's. Still if i found the right deal i would take it. I am usually more into uniqueness than what the general consensus has to say. I love the car but miss my m3. i'm not gonna rush so i will keep u guys posted. Thanks. MOre comments from clubsport owners is greatly appreciated.
