I'm looking for lowering springs for my badboy but I don't know which 1 lowest Thanks | | | 08-16-2007, 01:58 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: Florida Posts: 2,525 | I don't know about just springs, but the lowest suspension systems are either TcKline coilovers with the "special" Z3/Ti small vogtland VVS springs in the rear, or KW variant 3's. But my take is that either one of those systems at full drop will move the roll center of the car up to high and actually hurt performance. | | | 08-16-2007, 03:28 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Halethorpe, MD Posts: 1,028 | The shortest off-the-shelf springs are probably the H&R Race springs. The Eibach Sport Line is nearly as short, but you may not be able to find any of those. The US Eibach site no longer lists any parts for the ti. | | | 08-16-2007, 04:51 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | H&R Race is very low but you could probably do more with full coilovers. __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | 09-01-2007, 10:24 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Fort Worth, TX Posts: 234 | H&R race will be the lowest. if you dont track your car or know what you are doing with coilovers, then dont get them. 9 out of 10 people dont know what they are doing and end up having a worse suspension setup than stock. __________________ | | | 09-01-2007, 10:36 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Minneapolis Posts: 1,587 | Sounds like fun those Denver snowstorms too! | | | 09-02-2007, 04:11 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: Denver, Co USA Posts: 99 | Quote: Originally Posted by CirrusSR22 Sounds like fun those Denver snowstorms too! | I got 4x4 for the winter.
