Anybody live in Cincinnati? Like the title suggests, I am moving to Cincinnati in a couple weeks with my california roof ti. Does anyone on here live around there? Curious if they are beautiful drives around there! And I've never had an older car in winter....so I may need some pointers? Thanks, Matt __________________ '96 318ti California Edition- Montreal blue '68 1600-2-Caribe blue | | | 04-30-2016, 04:40 PM | #2 | Junior Member Join Date: Jul 2013 Location: Louisiana Posts: 27 | Both southern Indiana (the entire region from Bloomington through Brown County to Columbus) and eastern Kentucky (horse country around Lexington and Shakertown) are beautiful drives easily accessible from Cincinnati. Good luck with your move, and I suspect, your new job! | | | 04-30-2016, 08:19 PM | #3 | Junior Member Join Date: May 2014 Location: Ohio Posts: 22 | I don't live in Cinci, but I'm about an hour east. My suggestions for Winter? Make sure your heat works and invest in an extra set of rims with good winter tires. __________________ 1998 BMW 318ti 1995 BMW 318ti 1992 Subaru SVX 1992 Honda Del Sol (SOLD) | | | 04-30-2016, 11:40 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2012 Location: Dodging potholes in SoCal Posts: 454 | I'm moving to a pretty walkable neighborhood, so I'm considering just not driving in winter at all haha. __________________ '96 318ti California Edition- Montreal blue '68 1600-2-Caribe blue | | | 05-02-2016, 07:07 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2015 Location: Wichita Falls,Texas Posts: 106 | Did you get tired of Texas ? Bring out your bmw to the local autocross groups. Our is the Miami Valley Sports Car Club. We will be racing at Wilmington Airport this year which is about 20-30 mins away from Cinci. There is also a SCCA group in Cinci as well | | | 06-14-2016, 03:30 AM | #7 | Junior Member Join Date: Jun 2016 Location: Cincinnati Posts: 17 | I live in cinci and just joined the forum! | | | 06-14-2016, 02:40 PM | #8 | Junior Member Join Date: Jun 2016 Location: Cincinnati Posts: 17 | What part did you move to? There are great drives, but Indiana in the fall is stunning. __________________ -Alex | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
