The link wasn't working because ti was in the glossary.

I remember finding this link a couple of years ago. Its too bad they didnt build that e46 M compact, if priced right, it would have done quite well over here.

I priced out an A3 with all the options....came to $32k. I'd rather get the R32 Golf for that price and have all-wheel drive.

M1 unlikely (at least in name), http://www.autoblog.com/entry/1234000733048825/

and the a3 was one of the most unentertaining cars i've ever driven. the only plausible replacement for the ti is the wrx, but i have yet to try it out.

the benz compact is fast but the feedback is poor compared to our little E36/5s.

the wrx is fun. my friend has one. when i was trying it out, i was shocked to see that we were going 110mph--->its a smooth ride 'cuz it felt like were doing 55 or 60. also it was the turbo. the M1 looks like that Chrysler retro mini van thing! sorry but

how's the clutch feel on it? i really don't like the e46 3er because it feels japanese (soft, poor feedback). i love the e30 clutch (heavy, you can feel the friction point well).

anyway, it's more fun to drive a slow car fast, than drive a fast car slow.
