Default FS: M42 and M44 Parts

Just joined the site!

Someone over on bimmerforums said I would have better luck trying to sell m42 and m44 specific parts here.

M42 parts were pulled from a 1990 318i with 140k on the motor. The previous owner was an older man that took very good care of the car, up until it was hit!

My user name on bimmerforums is the same as the one i have here...dude8383

Feel free to check my other fs posts...I've had no issues with people purchasing parts for me! If you have any questions, my email is at the bottom or PM me!

I'm also a moderator over on www.m42club.com

Enough with my intro...here's what you guys really want!

Parts below:

is the crap on top of the valve cover just oil and other random stuff, because i'm looking to do a custom painted one..to replaced the one I have in there now, and I'm wondering how easy it would be to strip all of the stuff off to prime it up, and then paint.

its cosmoline and some oil. i would recommend cleaning it with simple green or brake cleaner and then sanding it.

there's someone thats interested in this, but they're local making it much easier for me to get rid of this.

Do you have a part number on the m42 throttle body? Or atleast know if it is identical to an e36 m42 throttle body?

Real OEM shows-

13541739206 318i

13541739297 318ti

Any issues with it?

Would you know if the M44 and M42 oil filter assemblies are interchangable? I found a really sweat polished M42 cap, but the M44 cap does not have the hole in the middle for the bolt

I plan on getting it, but only if I know they are the same... The part numbers are very similiar, but there is a difference. Sometimes they just update the part numbers but the product is the same. Can somebody with TIS check it out? Or does anybody that has worked on the e30 m42 and e36 m42 know if the TB is identical?
