Default New trunk emblem??

Howdy
So the paint off of my original emblem chipped and all fell off and I need to order a new one. Well my question is is the emblem screwed on from the inside or is it ply off? I don't wanna take off the back panel to find out it's not screw on
Thanks!

It's pry-off. Use the corner of a credit card or something non-metalic to get it started. It's held on by two plastic nipples that go into plastic grommets. You'll want to replace the grommets too. You would've figured it out eventually once you order the new roundel(emblem) and look at the back of it

You have to pry the emblem off from the outside. There are several ways to do this but the fastest way is to take about a 2 foot section of the plastic strapping material they use to in ship heavy boxes... slide it between the emblem and the body from the top... it will stop when you get about half way... then give it a hard tug and it will come right off.

I sell both OE and aftermarket emblems with grommets, see my online store or my eBay store.

You should sell them as a kit and include a piece of the plastic strapping material

Just purchased mine off your site, BimmerBum. The face of the emblem fell off today; I went to the trunk and all I saw was glue residue! (o_O)

Good trick! I just installed the ones you sent me and I used a plastic interior trim tool and a small Craftsman curved pick. I think I like your method better.

BTW, the emblems look great! better than the rest of the car actually for now.

Thanks Ed!
