I don't think he is intentionally screwing people, but its happening regardless. (Or at least just me) | | | 05-03-2016, 02:38 PM | #17 | Member Join Date: Feb 2015 Location: Vermont Posts: 60 | I bought a set of M tech bumpers off of him Almost 2 months ago and never received them, just got my money back from PayPal yesterday. Didn't hear from until about a day before the PP claim was over that he's sorry and he doesn't know what happened to the packages, and couldn't provide a tracking number. Not bashing him it just was not a peasant experience, after waiting 2 weeks for him to "ship" them with no tracking number to over 3 weeks or so with no clear answers on anything before being forced to file a PP claim. | | | 05-04-2016, 04:09 AM | #18 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2013 Location: Sheboygan,Wi Posts: 135 | Guy sounds like a total pos.Paypal is a great thing atleast,Saved me a 150 bucks when a guy flaked on me for a euro steering wheel. | | | 05-06-2016, 02:18 AM | #19 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2012 Location: philadelphia Posts: 217 | Ongoing...buyers beware.... So anyone thinking about purchasing items from e36 ti-M should be very cautious. I attempted to contact him several times and he was slow or didn't respond. Finally contacted him a few weeks ago thru paypal and it took him a while to respond claiming last he recalled he dropped it off at the shipping store....more delays, eventually he responds saying he was "having someone look into it". Needless to say when I finally escalated the paypal inquiry to a "claim". Never bothered to let me know the results of him " looking into it" Three days later I get a response with a tracking #. He just shipped it. Didn't bother to ask if I still wanted it, or otherwise communicate -- just shipped it 48 days after I paid for the item. And I assume I still have little recourse with paypal because there is a tracking #. | | | 05-06-2016, 07:35 AM | #20 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2014 Location: USA Posts: 444 | my side of the story. Again i left the country with short notice and im still currently out. A few memebers know my story. I did drop of the package at the ups store before i left. I have an account with them PMB and all.Its not me who sat with the package. Ups didnt ship to because it was not packaged well. I gave it to them (Shrink wrap) and stor clerk said ok. I guess the manager didnt want to send it. My wife went to the store tuesday and clerk said they were trying to contact me via phone. But my phone is dead since im out of the country. Wife took the package with her and shipped it through her work's fedex account. It was re packed by her warehouse team member and fedex pick it up at the end of the day. Thats what happend Theres no way of cancelling the shipment. Its already on its way to you. Paypal has the tracking number as well already. It will get to you. If you dont want it then send it back. Nothing more i can do to cancel it. Again im not able to go online everyday thats why communication is slow | | | 05-06-2016, 01:01 PM | #21 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2012 Location: philadelphia Posts: 217 | If you say so. After all, you are not refuting anything I have said. But failure to pack something to the point it is not ship-able and failure to communicate about it or respond are hardly justifiable. And still, you do state you aren't able to go online everyday, but implying that you are in fact able to get online. In addition to all of the other emails, PM's and Posts to the original for sale ad, I emailed you through paypal on April 19 asking for status update. You didn't respond until May 2. Thats two weeks. There is a significant difference between "not everyday" and two weeks. buyers beware. | | | 05-12-2016, 08:13 PM | #22 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2012 Location: philadelphia Posts: 217 | Received my Xbrace today 5/12 (Paid on 3/17). Please look at the original photo of Xbrace listed for sale. And then look at what I received. Part is not the same. The one pictured below is scratched all over and missing paint and even dented on one of the round sections. Its still probably fully functional, and I am not a nutcase about stuff appearance, but even still, I am going to have to sand and repaint this xbrace before I will install it. Not like the one pictured. | | | 05-13-2016, 10:54 PM | #23 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2009 Location: Orange County, CA Posts: 2,019 | Quote: Originally Posted by cmoore (Paid on 3/17).
