There seems to be a lot of members from there and they are somewhat centraly located. Plus more stuff to do there. Maybe you chi town guys can help us out here and see if there are any car events in the area around that time and we can plan a meet around that. If we plan now im sure it will help make it more possible. __________________ | | | 11-02-2008, 07:51 PM | #53 | Member Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: Iowa City, IA Posts: 57 | Iowa City, IA checking in. I'm still thinking about getting one once my truck sells, but I have never even been in one yet. And by the looks of things lately I'm going to have to make a road trip to buy one, so I'd like to actually check one out before I take the plunge. Really be nice to check one out with the sporty leather/cloth combo seats. That is what I am going to find for myself. I live about 35 minutes East of St. Paul, but I head over to the metro every now and then. | | | 12-01-2008, 09:26 AM | #56 | Junior Member Join Date: Dec 2008 Location: cincinnati Posts: 1 | 318i for now but here in cincinnati all the same | | | 12-21-2008, 11:31 PM | #57 | Junior Member Join Date: May 2004 Location: Minnesota Posts: 9 | Blaine, MN here...selling the ti though =( Construction slowdown is killin the fun factor. 1998 318ti Sport Alpineweiss. Originally a California car, we bought it from a dealer in Portland, Oregon. Low miles and its never, ever, been driven in snow or salt here in Mn. We store it in the garage and put that abuse on the our poor vw gti. | | | 01-31-2009, 09:43 AM | #58 | Member Join Date: Nov 2007 Location: NH Posts: 79 | Been a while I think it's been almost a year since I started looking for a ti. I abandoned the idea for a while and went through fetishes for everything from civics to golfs to porsches. And now I'm back, convinced that a ti is really what I want So I'm gonna try and become active again here in our Midwest forums, and hopefully I'll have me a spiffy little machine before long. I started going to school again, so the need for my own car is become more urgent. I can hope. 007monkey, are you still selling your ti? If so, I'd like to hear a little about it and what you'd be interested in taking for it. | | | 01-31-2009, 09:47 PM | #59 | Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2009 Location: Granger Posts: 4 | Granger, IN about 20 minutes from Notre Dame. I have to agree the ti's i see are few and far between. Thats one of the reasons I like mine so much! | | | 02-01-2009, 12:23 AM | #60 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: MN Posts: 12 | Red Wing, MN here, but i'm in Mankato, MN most of the time for school. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
