Default wrap or not to wrap

my car is red, we call it mfin red, hellrot is the bmw name for it, but its still red.
I don't like red.
I was thinking a vinyl wrap, anyone here ever do one, I sused out the cost, under 1000 for the wrap. car is in the garage apart, thinking now is the time

Dude at work has his STi wrapped with matte black. Pretty cool stuff if it's applied properly. He's had it on for about 3 or 4 years at this point and still looks pretty damn good for vinyl.

He did mention having to do really tight contours with rubber dip spray/plastidip. Door handles, the spoiler, a few other bits...

I've also seen a few folks that have done straight rubber dip spray over their entire car. Pretty cool if you ask me. dipyourcar.com sells some really affordable kits and theres a ton of video on youtube...

Depending on how your living situation is I would HIGHLY suggest the affordability, reliability and longevity of plastidip as opposed to vinyl.

I've coated the wheels on my Triumph last spring and the quality of the finish hasn't diminished at all. I just made the mistake of doing matte white and they are a PAIN to keep clean

Default What color are you looking for?

I think red is a reasonably popular color - maybe there are people out there to swap with?
