Hey Folks, I've been using the 6 Ski carrier made by RhinoRack since the first week of Janurary and I loved it! I say "loved" since last night I had a catastrophic failure.
Story time: heading to the ski mountain last night around 3, and went maybe four or five miles down the highway. So traveling about 70-75mph. As I pass an on-ramp I hear two pops. When I check my rearview I watch the top halves of both roof clamps and my snowboard hit the highway. Of course the 18-Wheeler from the on ramp nails my board and both the clamp pieces.... In a word: F^cked.
The clamps are still under warrenty, so I called RhinoRack and told them what happend. The guy on the phone was AWSOME! No questions asked said that they would send out a new one today! What a boss! I was so worried of having to deal with poor service or difficulty getting a replacement and RhinoRack surpassed all my expectations! So just wanted to share with you guys the silver-linning of my **** storm of a night and show my appreciation for a great company!
Here are some pics of my board:
