I could have them shipped for about $75 more, but would rather save the $ for tires. | | | 12-06-2004, 09:57 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Indiana Posts: 256 | Am I going to need Spacers as I think the offset on the TI is 35mm and the offset on the M3 is 20mm ??? | | | 12-06-2004, 11:57 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2003 Location: cary, nc Posts: 2,259 | so you got a set of four wheels for $315...or 315 per wheel? that would be a really good deal in my opinion... __________________ 1995 318ti Active Pioneer Speakers [] Aluminum Billet door locks [] ACS Pedals/Deadrest [] ACS Shift Knob / E-Brake Handle [] Clear Corners/Tails/Sides [] Sylvania Exterior Lighting [] Custom CAI [] Dinan Engine Chip [] Dinan Transmission Chip [] H&R Race Springs [] Tokico Illumina Shocks [] BMW X-Brace [] Relocated Lighter Mod [] Custom iPod Mod http://www.cardomain.com/id/robcarync | | | 12-07-2004, 02:23 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Indiana Posts: 256 | whole set for $315 | | | 12-07-2004, 02:25 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Manhattan Kansas Posts: 242 | holy schnikes you got a deal! | | | 12-13-2004, 06:53 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2004 Location: Delafield, WI Posts: 471 | Are those OEM BMW wheels or replicas? | | | 12-14-2004, 01:57 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Indiana Posts: 256 | I was told they were OEM BMW, but how would I tell for sure? | | | 12-14-2004, 06:34 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2004 Location: Marietta, GA Posts: 124 | M logo if they are replicas (OER) the M logo would be at level of the rims or does not have them, and if they are originals (OEM) the M would be in a little gap or hole (don't know how to explain it) underneath the center cap or somewhere around it. you'll find it! and the BMW part # should be somewhere around rim, replicas doesn't have part #'s | | | 12-14-2004, 09:57 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2004 Location: Delafield, WI Posts: 471 | If the wheels are replicas and are well made, you still got a great deal. | | | 12-17-2004, 12:12 AM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Charlotte, NC Posts: 120 | im going to ebay right now! | | | 12-17-2004, 12:13 AM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Charlotte, NC Posts: 120 | they were probably stolen though...oh well | | | 12-17-2004, 01:06 AM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Indiana Posts: 256 | Quote: Originally Posted by motorsport they were probably stolen though...oh well | They are more than likely replicas, because I didn't find a BMW part # or anything on them. I can gurantee they weren't stolen, the guy I bought them off of took me to his house where I picked them up. He lived in a very nice neighborhood, and sold his car so he didn't need them anymore. | | | 12-17-2004, 01:32 AM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2004 Location: Marietta, GA Posts: 124 | so if they are replicas, you might lose a little of HP and torque, cause they're more heavier. just wanna let you know. | | | 12-17-2004, 02:02 AM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2003 Location: cary, nc Posts: 2,259 | im not educated about tires and rims...but it seems to me that the extra weight would not drastically reduce HP and torque...and if it did...the good price would likely be worth it to me at least...like i said thouhg, i dont really know...either way they are a REALLLLLLY good deal if you ask me... __________________ 1995 318ti Active Pioneer Speakers [] Aluminum Billet door locks [] ACS Pedals/Deadrest [] ACS Shift Knob / E-Brake Handle [] Clear Corners/Tails/Sides [] Sylvania Exterior Lighting [] Custom CAI [] Dinan Engine Chip [] Dinan Transmission Chip [] H&R Race Springs [] Tokico Illumina Shocks [] BMW X-Brace [] Relocated Lighter Mod [] Custom iPod Mod http://www.cardomain.com/id/robcarync | | | 12-17-2004, 03:18 AM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Indiana Posts: 256 | Not worried about racing, and if I do race It will be at the track and I can switch back to my stock 15's before I go. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
