Cool Found you on Google!

Wow!! I didn't know this existed.
Well its great to see that it does.

Needless to say I am new here and hopefully you will be seeing a lot of me, as a fellow 318ti owner.

Yeah....I found this place when I was doing research on the car before I bought one. The info I got here helped me decide I was getting a good car.

That's always good to hear.

There are other good forums for the ti, but none that a strictly Compact specific.

yeah this site rocks. tons of people that know what they are doing...who are nice enough to help me. i know im annoying with dumb questions because i know nothing about cars but i always find this site useful for information on ANYTHING related to this car.

i also found this site for research before i bought it. at first i didnt really care much about cars...just wanted something to drive me around...but since ive been driving it...i really have become addicted to it. i still know nothing about cars really but im learning.

and hey! i managed to find the diagnostic port today to use my fault code reader! a small victory for my self esteem! then i realized the code manual had a picture of it on the inside...but i dont need instructions...i did it myself! haha yeah im a loser!

Thanks everyone!
I love my car although my signature says Ultimate Dying Machine!
There have been a lot of problems that seem to be because of poor quality.

Anywho! I am sure there will be a lot I can contribute on this forum and a Lot I can learn.
I have had my ti since '97, bought it new.
I love driving and when I took a test drive in the car the sales man who is a semi-professional driver took the car on an off-ramp at about 55MPH with cruise control set, on the turn he was turning the wheel just a little so the rear end will give way but the traction control would stabalize the car.
I fell in love with it that same day.

Now I can do the same thing in my car after I went to race driving school.

Cheers!

Bob
