Default A little plastic surgery

Work in progress:

To This:

I've had her for about 1.5 years and finally got around to giving her some much needed attention. Lucked out and found the nose panel and bumper in pretty good condition on CL in the right color I needed. Have some projectors to go on now too. On the hunt for some decent fenders and a hood and she will be looking pretty damn decent.

Yes and no. The PO really beat the hell out of it and just did quick fixes with random screws and a lot of RTV or some other rubbery adhesive. Everything was in such bad shape I knew nothing was worth saving so I just made sure everything was free of breaking something important and went to town. The bumper ended up breaking in two.

You're telling me. It seems everything on the damn thing has been messed with and I'm constantly finding missing bolts and hoses and cut wires or just generally really bad fixes that are just barely getting the job done.

I was shocked how much of a difference it made. I'm in Williamsburg, 40 or so minutes east of Richmond.

A little update on the car. This is kind of turning into my daily/restoration project thread. I picked up some Style 5's this afternoon, no tires and decent shape. I'm trying to decide if I want to strip them down and repaint but not sure of the color so they will stay like this for the time being till I make up my mind.
