Anyways some questions I wanted to ask was what engines can I get. | | | 01-04-2007, 01:10 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | What year is your car? __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 01-05-2007, 12:58 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: Portland, Oregon Posts: 484 | any bmw engine if you have the money __________________ S50 Swap, Euro 3.5" HFM (MAF), my custom Chip, Cosmo CAI, Custom Exhaust, 6 Cyl. You can put a Camaro engine in there. Here's what you can do.... 2.1, 2.3, 2.5, 2.8,3.0,3.2 Im not sure if one is easier than other (can someone confirm this) but they all fit. But being that your car is a 98' its gonna be costly. Cuz (well if your state has smog) youll need exactly a 98 or 99 engine to pass smog legally. Newer engine would be more expensive i guess. | | | 01-05-2007, 09:23 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Port St. Johns, Florida Posts: 2,242 | I'm looking at the M50B25 cause it's plug and play with the 95 Club Sport....although I might stroke the M50 with Zionsville's 2.8L kit(500$) since it might be nice to have some new internals on a 94/95 engine. | | | 01-05-2007, 02:55 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: 43609 Posts: 3,425 | Quote: Originally Posted by Panzer_M I'm looking at the M50B25 cause it's plug and play with the 95 Club Sport....although I might stroke the M50 with Zionsville's 2.8L kit(500$) since it might be nice to have some new internals on a 94/95 engine. | Sounds like a pretty good deal. I thought stroker kits were way more expensive. __________________ 1995 Hellrot Clubsport 318ti -Gone 1996 Schwartz II Sport 357ti - 5.7L V8 LS1/6 1997 Moregrun Metallic 318ti - Gone 1998 Schwartz II sport 318ti - M50TUB25/5 | | | 01-05-2007, 06:44 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: Portland, Oregon Posts: 484 | any m50-2/s50-2 cars are direct bolt on __________________ S50 Swap, Euro 3.5" HFM (MAF), my custom Chip, Cosmo CAI, Custom Exhaust, 6 Cyl.
