I will allow anyone to use my tools, cherry picker and driveway for free and questions or guidance is always free. I have everything for a install as far as tools go but you will owrk on your back if under the car at my house (No Car Lift) What I'm saying is I don't want to install more turbos for free, I'm in real estate for a living. Also what kind of turbo kit and what is missing? What type of manifold? Thanks, John S | I'm surprised you even offered to do a free install, it's so very kind of you John. I can't imagine all the crap you have to deal with owning real estate and being a parent at the same time. I want to get everything so I can start getting my hands greasy. Thanks John! I want to get everything so I can start getting my hands greasy. Thanks John! Mirkal. | It is hard to tell from pictures. I don't like using a RRFPR for boost enrichment fuel. I like to use a coded DME with a M3 MAF since the drivability is much better and you don't need to worry about lean spots. I didn't see a pipe with adapter for the BOV. The turbo oil return line might not work. Here is the deal. This Friday we start a install of this kit on a 1996 318ti. This will be hosted live on 318ti on the front page so all can see us working on the install. By Monday next week we will know all items that are not good for this kit...Piping is easy to cut and fit. This will be hosted on the 318ti.org page so only type in 318ti.org and it will take you to the ustream plug-in and you can see the install while it happens | | | 01-26-2012, 03:18 AM | #652 | Junior Member Join Date: Oct 2011 Location: washington DC Posts: 7 | Thanks a lot John, are you going to have a copy of it as well? | | | 01-26-2012, 02:28 PM | #653 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: Gulfport, Florida Posts: 3,208 | Quote: Originally Posted by mirkal77 Thanks a lot John, are you going to have a copy of it as well? | Yes I will have a high res copy in .avi format since all security cam video is kept for about 3 months then over written on the tera drive. It should fit on a few DVD's. I will also do a high speed video of the complete install in 5 minutes | | | 01-29-2012, 02:38 PM | #654 | Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2012 Location: Auburn, wa Posts: 9 | john, youre TRUELY an amazing guy. He wrote a 667 turbo code that was dead on the first start. I only asked this morning for the code and I get it back in like 15 minutes with the mods. It is not easy to take 668 code and graft it into a 667 DME but he did it on the first try. Car idles great can't wait to drive it late today. Maybe 6-7pm As always thanks so much for your continued help and offering your coding work for free for this project | | | 01-29-2012, 06:53 PM | #656 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: Gulfport, Florida Posts: 3,208 | Quote: Originally Posted by shaylarae john, youre TRUELY an amazing guy.
