P1140 Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Range/Performance Problem P1509 Idle Speed Control Valve Opening Solenoid Control Circuit Electrial P1550 Idle Speed Control valve Closing Solenoid Control Circuit Electrical Sounds like a wiring problem for the ISC valve. The 1140 could be a vacuum leak. Check the intake boot and all the vacuum lines on the intake. __________________ No more ti. | | | 09-30-2010, 03:47 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2008 Location: Prospect Heights, IL Posts: 188 | How do I check if the wiring is faulty? __________________ | | | 09-30-2010, 04:24 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: TAMARAC, Florida Posts: 191 | I had the p1140 code that i fixed this years also. mine was caused by a vacuum leak between the upper and lower intake manifold, had to take it a part and rtv the gaskets to seal it up. code went right away when i was done. __________________ 96ti M52 swap soon to come.
