Default 1995 Auto Sport Black 221K

Riverside County California 1995 Automatic Sports Package Black 318ti with 221K miles.

$1800 (pictures linked at bottom)

I have too many cars (including three BMWs) and I've got to let this one go. This Black 1995 BMW 318ti with Sport package and automatic transmission is excellent for a commuter or high-school student.

I acquired this 318ti at 150K from a dealer for my daughter's college commute.

Nearly new tires have only 300 miles on them. Automatic transmission shifts well. Tight steering with sports springs and sway bars make the ride enjoyable around corners.

I swapped all cooling system components including hoses, plastic fittings, radiator, water pump, t-stat and temp sensors. All other hoses, rubber, sensors and seals in the engine compartment including vacuum, fuel lines and valve cover gaskets were similarly replaced. Also flushed the transmission, swapped new filter, and changed rear differential fluid.

All scheduled oil changes were performed with Castrol Oil and Rislone ZDDP Zinc Supplement. The fuel pump was replaced last month.

Exterior body panels are all straight with some typical dings expected for a car with equivalent mileage. The paint is mechanically sound and its appearance is what I would call a ten foot car. I believe it to have been resprayed by the dealership from which I purchased it. There is no rust. Headlights are HID projectors and the brake light fog circuit was activated for additional visibility.

The interior is black. The headliner was refurbished by the dealer from which I purchased it. The dash is smooth with no cracks. Steering wheel is wrapped with leather. Package tray is unmolested.

I've set the price at the low end because there are several items that need replacement, and I have other projects demanding my time. The following is full disclosure for known issues above typical wear and tear. They are common fixes:

Driver exterior handle not functioning (I intend to fix this)
Passenger window sticky
A couple seat forward release tabs are missing
Cabin heater does not heat, valve linkage disconnected

Good deal for a sensible daily beater. Visually it doesn't appear to have the sport pack, however.

For 95 its a bit different I think, it has the sport interior and except for the clubsport it wasn't until later years that sport pack had M trim bits too.

I think! I could be completely wrong, but interior definitely looks like its from a sport.

Its 95 sports, came with thicker sway bars and lower springs. One of the original sports package alloy rims had a small dent so I replaced with set of Z3 rims. I think the steering ratio is tighter than that of my other 318ti base model but haven't measured it.

Ah yes I forgot about the suspension pieces. As for the steering ratio I am almost sure that they are all the same, otherwise it would be a more common mod instead of just the z3 steering rack.

You mention Vader's but that is not what you show in your pictures. Those are just the standard sport seats, not M3 Vaders. Do you have the Vader's separately and are going to include in sale?
