Default side skirts active/base vs sport?

i have searched a while and couldn't confirm definitively; are the side skirts/rocker trim covers different between the "sports" and the active or base models? i couldn't find images of the two next to each other? i looked on realoem and it seemed like the part numbers were the same on the 99's (sport only) and the previous years, but i don't want to rely on that.

Yep, they're the same.

the only difference is if the skirts are painted to match the body

Base model wasn't painted. Active and Sport are painted.

I am partially offended by both offerings, I believe that E36 M3 twisties fit fine.

For 1995, all models had unpainted rocker panels (no skirts), with the exception of Club Sports which did have painted side skirts. 1996 and later, all models (including base) came with painted side skirts.

Option No. 341 was the option for color matched bumpers, but I'm not sure if there was a different option for color matched side skirts (I've not seen one).

I currently have a 1997 active with Alpinweiss color matched bumpers (#341 is noted on the build sheet) and unpainted (gray) side skirts, FWIW.
