I did a search, but it didn't really turn up with anything. Does anybody have any pictures of a gray interior with black seats? I'm tired of the complete lack of bolstering on my stockers, and I've been trying to find a set of gray vaders, sport seats, or racing seats for too long. To this end, I think I'm probably just going to pick up a set of black seats, but I'm curious as to how it'll look. Thanks in advance for any help. __________________ -Kenny | | | 07-14-2007, 05:50 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: Portland Or Posts: 2,666 | Corbeu (SP?) Come in grey. I'd love to pick up a gray set of CR1's or TRS's, but I can't find any used ones in gray. __________________ -Kenny | | | 07-14-2007, 04:33 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Regensburg, Germany Posts: 584 | I have been thinking about the same thing, actually...I mean, there is some black in there, so I'm not sure how it will look. | | | 07-14-2007, 05:08 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: Melbourne, Fl/Athens, AL Posts: 393 | I keep going back and forth between spending the extra $240 on a new set of gray Corbeaus or not, but I dunno. Since They need recovering anyway, I think I'll probably do the headliner and a-pillars in black, if I go with the black seats. __________________ -Kenny | | | 07-14-2007, 05:09 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Stamford, CT <-> Boston, MA Posts: 1,393 | Quote: Originally Posted by Variance I keep going back and forth between spending the extra $240 on a new set of gray Corbeaus or not, but I dunno. It didn't come out looking too bad. Just seemed like a ton of work though. IIRC it was fairly cheap. __________________ BMWCCA #403399 2012 Mini Cooper S Clubman, 6-Speed Loaded 2001 325xi, Winter Package, 5-Speed Traded 1998 318ti, Active, Automatic, TOTAL LOSS R.I.P. 10/20/08 Bilstein Sport Shocks/Struts . I like my gray interior, but I'm at my wit's end for seats. __________________ -Kenny | | | 07-14-2007, 07:32 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Regensburg, Germany Posts: 584 | Quote: Originally Posted by Variance ..., but I'm at my wit's end for seats. | I hear ya. I got there at 2:40, and the place freaking closed at 2. Yeah, it's a Saturday, but 2? I was pissed that I drove a half an hour for nothing. __________________ -Kenny | | | 07-14-2007, 11:07 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: Boston, MA Posts: 1,152 | I can help you guys out but have to wait til tmorrow for pics. Tired of the hot sticky leather and total lack of side bolster support __________________ 98 318ti 05 Impreza | | | 07-16-2007, 09:03 PM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Stamford, CT <-> Boston, MA Posts: 1,393 | Quote: Originally Posted by Storz I'm sure it will look fine, I am in the same boat with the stock seats. I want to turn on the A/C, but it's not hot enough for me to sacrifice the precious horse power __________________ BMWCCA #403399 2012 Mini Cooper S Clubman, 6-Speed Loaded 2001 325xi, Winter Package, 5-Speed Traded 1998 318ti, Active, Automatic, TOTAL LOSS R.I.P. 10/20/08 Bilstein Sport Shocks/Struts .
