Default aqua cali in Tampa Fl

Hi everyone, My name is Jim. Last week I picked up a 96 California edition individual. out of Miami. Its Aqua Metallic with paint code 451. I have been a BMW guy for the last 30 years, My first car was a 1976 2002, I had owned an e30, Currently own a 1997 e36 m3/4/5 also an e12 528i in pieces, rust repair. I have a 2011 Mini Countryman S 5 speed that I am replacing with the 318ti. Thanks for the great site I'm looking forward to learning all I can about my new car.

Welcome! I also have a Cali individual? What's your VIN? Our cars are probably twins (besides color).

Thanks for the welcome..vin is WBACG8323TAU37071. It has 136,000 miles. I just ordered bunch of parts for it complete cooling system refresh ,belts, tensioners. cowl, plugs, wires,Ignition Coil, valve cover gasket kit. Maintenance over mods for now. I love how cheep parts are . I used to getting e36 m3 parts . or worse mini countryman parts. $$$. I'm posting pics soon. The color is hard to find on any BMW let alone e36/5.

Cool! Looking forward to the pictures, also would love to hear how you compare the ti to the other cars you have driving - once it runs nicely that is.
