Hi all, I'm about to cash out roughly $1000 on suspension goodies, and I've read a few places that BMWCCA can get you discounts on parts. The "membership benifits" section on their website doesn't say who provides the discounts to members. Is it only dealers? Does anyone have a list of places that offer BMWCCA discounts? I'm trying to decide if it's worth spending $40 to save some money, or if I should just fork over all of my hard earned cash to BAV/Understeer? Thanks! PS: Parts I'm looking for (if it makes a difference): H&R springs Bilstein shocks Front/rear strut mounts Reinforcement plates for the RSMs. Gaskets for front/rear strut mounts. | | | 05-03-2008, 03:43 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Denver, Colorado Posts: 3,212 | Yea its the dealer but theres also local shops and i guess other places that would give you discounts. | | | 05-03-2008, 03:43 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | if you buy anything from the dealer GET IT! tischer bmw also offers it. here use my number for reference 398964 __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 05-03-2008, 03:45 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Denver, Colorado Posts: 3,212 | How many references can you put when you sign up? | | | 05-03-2008, 03:46 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | just 1 __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 05-03-2008, 03:47 AM | #6 | aka Stabby Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Mead, CO Posts: 5,336 | dealers (believe it's optional and the percentage off they give you varies, typically between 10-20%). i swear bavauto gives something off for bmwcca, but i wasn't finding the info on their website __________________ 1996 318ti, California package, 267k miles current mods: bilstein sports, bavauto springs, e30 m3 LCABs, solid metal ball joints, bavauto RSMs w/reinforcements, e30 3.73 LSD & halfshafts, supersprint cat-back exhaust, turner rear sway bar reinforcements, IE poly subframe & RTABs + camber/toe kits, powdercoated e36 32x front calipers, sport mirrors, H&R 28mmF/19mmR sway bars, x-brace, auto solutions SSK w/poly bushing upgrade, BMW CD43 head unit, DICE HD Radio w/iPod integration and "stealth" HD antenna, staggered style 68s, orange electronic TPMS, leather arm rest, JT Designs metal undertray acquired and awaiting install: heated seat kit, cali top switch relo, lumbar support kit, park distance control kit, heated washer nozzle kit, m-coupe rear subframe, trailing arms, differential, and halfshafts, m-coupe front/rear brakes with master cylinder, under hood light kit, mud flaps, rear sun blind, auto-dimming rear view mirror, tilt steering wheel retrofit, apexcone 5000K HIDs with 55W ballasts 2002 X5 4.4 Sport Package, 53.5k miles Current Mods: e46 m3 steering wheel | | | 05-03-2008, 03:49 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Denver, Colorado Posts: 3,212 | That sucks i was gonna let you guys know and i was gonna put whoever wanted me to. BMP was giving discount to CCA members. If you need genuine parts you will save the $40 easily. The membership buys you more than just discounts. It will get you Roundel monthly magazine, access to their website, auto-x and other events at reduced prices and the discount at BMW dealerships. | | | 05-03-2008, 04:05 AM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | yeah i ordered a few common parts and saved my money instantly!
