Default trim paner removal

How do I disconnect the manual fuel door cord so that I can remove my trim panel? Thanks

it's not the most elegant solution but what I've done is take a razor blade and cut the hole so I can get the end through. if you just cut straight across the hole it won't be noticeable once everything's back together
