Rear Hatch Lid

Does anyone know where to buy a new rear hatch lid. Mine is shot and I was hoping to get a new one...Hard to come by.

they are hard to come by. best bet is looking for a parts car on here and wait til someone parts theirs out or someone that is turning their ti into a track car.

My lid has been bothering me for awhile. I have the sun shade installed, and recently put the Strong Strut cartridges in. The hatch opens so high, it tilts the lid almost perpendicular to the ground.

Anyway, the pins that are supposed to hold the lid in slip out of their slots. Then I need two hands to close the hatch, cause the struts are so strong, that I can't put the lid back in the slots, and it gets jammed up. Anyone ever extend the length of the pins, so they stay in place better?

Also, who has used an alternative to the Strong Struts, that isn't so long and hard? No pun intended.

my problem is that on both my ti's the little holders dor the pins broke so it doesnt like to stay in place. (i fixed it for now with two screws that are only screwed in half way.)

but i would take stock hatch struts to an auto parts store and see if they are willing to look around for struts that may work.
