 CA Another new member...
Great site. I don't have my 318ti yet, but will sometime soon. My first car was a '71 Mazda RX-2. Then a few years later got married, and bought a tired '70 BMW 2002, with A/T. It was still a fun car, but long gone. I don't really do much wrenching myself, rely on a favorite independent mechanic/friend. He only does German cars, so I tend to buy German. It's two mechanics and both are heavily into E30's including an M3. But I think it'll be a Compact for me.
