Depends on the production date. Either the fuel rail or down by the fuel filter under the car.

They really put that under the car by the fuel filter? Odd place.
It must be a mechanical regulator as opposed to a vacuum operated.

It was still a vacuum operated regulator when it was under the car.

Yes, I found it and replaced it. But unfortunately I did not solve the problem. By accelerating the engine loses power and gets unresponsive, it just respond passing 2500 rpm, And I changed the throttle position sensor and iddle valve sensor but the problem still continues.

It don't turn on the check light, but after 4 days of using the engine starts to run very well in comparison with the way it worked before. Since I change te regulator just 2 times makes a little fail, but just a little. I press the throttle and it run excelent. The only thing that I noticed is that the pressure regulator that I put in there is of 3.5 Bar, and the original is of 3.0 Bar.
