Default 1998 Silver/Black 318ti

I’m going to put up my 1998 Silver 318ti Sport for sale next month. This is just a heads up, for those enthusiasts who want to collect a mint car that I’ve babied for the past 10 years. Message if interested, and I can take some when I get a chance. I’ll post pics when I put it up for sale. I’m in Orange County, California.

Original paint, garaged, Silver/Black Sport interior.
34,900 miles. No accidents, 2nd owner. Purchased CPO from Sterling BMW, Newport Beach. Originally paid $30k.

New BFG G-Force Sport tires, new factory brakes 2k miles ago. Magnaflow catalytic converter. Comes with 6-Disc trunk-mounted Alpine CD changer with 10” Alpine Subwoofer.

Paint-matched perfect M-technic spoiler installed 2007. New fog lights installed 2009.

Oil changed every 3k with Castrol Syntec. I will include the Oil Reset/Engine fault code reader tool.

Dinan software download from Long Beach BMW. (Increased hp, torque, and speed governor removed.)

Clean, original paint with one small ding on driver rear panel. (Paint-less dent removal can take it out.)

Original Miles: 34,900 Exterior 9 out of 10. Interior very clean, no marks, stains or cracks. Original floormats still clean also. Custom CA License Plate: KOMPACT

The car needs a new headliner and airbag light reset.

I’m going to sell it because I went back to school and just graduated and have a lot of debt to pay off. Posting with pics will go up in June.

This sounds like a beauty of a car!!! A couple of questions if you don't mind. What will be your asking price? Any chance of selling it prior to June? If not, how far into June do you anticipate putting it up for sale? I am very interested and am located in the Sacramento area. I can't PM as I'm a noob on here (2nd post) but again, I am interested.

Thanx!!!

I've only been on this site a few times too, but I joined a few years ago, so I don't know how to navigate also. I'm still feeling out prices, so I'm not too sure yet. I get compliments on my car all the time, it is a beauty. Is it ok to post email address?

I've seen email addresses posted before, but as new as I am I couldn't say if it's ok or not....

Any MODs on that can confirm?

Just read a thread that was posted today and there is an email address in the message. MOD replied to the thread and no removal so I have to believe that it's ok.

I don't think there's a "site policy" issue with posting e-mail addresses. However, posting an e-mail address in a public forum is a good way to have that e-mail address "harvested" by spammers.

I suggest posting pix either in your gallery, or in this thread. That will save you the hassle of sending pix to people who only want a quick peek at the car but are not interested in buying.

I think I should be able to PM after this post, I'll try to get ahold of you in that manner to discuss.

My pleasure! I've never quite understood why people sometimes choose to not post photos here and insist in sending them via e-mail instead.

Where were you last June/July
I would've totally wanted to take a look at your car!
Manual or Automatic?
I got a coupe now, but I still want another ti.
Let me know! I might STILL want to take a look at it!
I'm in Lakewood/Long Beach so I can check it out as long as I have the time!
