Default Unknown Connector in engine bay

I am in the process of sorta rebuilding my front end on my ti. The guys before me totaled the car and literally taped the thing back together, and I have found a wire with something on the end of it that was literally just hanging there in the engine bay.

On the passenger front near the light is where I found the item in the attached pictures. Any idea what that is? I can only assume it involves the wheel well cover, which I am currently missing. Thanks for the help!
