Altough it's a 318ti website, I think I'm welcome with it's bigger brother: my 323ti. It's a boston green 1997 car with just over 102000km. And the fun thing is: it's my company car!
I don't know if this is the place, but i imediatly have a 2 questions:
First is about the suspension. I think I can completely change my suspension to that of a Z3M coupe/roadster. Springs, schocks and even the guide supports. But my car is lighter than a Z3M and I'm planning to remove some weight in the future. So is it a good idea to use the Z3M suspension components or is it better to look voor some good aftermarket stuff desigend for a 323ti. I don't want to lower it and neither do I want a stiff ride.
The second is about my exhaust. The exhaust is a verry restrictive part on a 323ti. The exhaust of a 328 is much better because it's a dual system to the end. Is it easy to adapt it to a compact, or are the gains compared to a z3 328 system only small? I know the Z3 328 exhaust is relative easy to place. It just has to be a little longer. A different option is always a complete custom stainless steel exhaust, but that is probaly a verry expensive solution.
greetings
