Base z3's come with no silver gauge surrounds and white needles. I changed that. No z3s or M coupes have removable sunroofs. Now mine does. Rear hatch comes with a black plastic insert, now mine is the same as the seats. And the shift know is a WSM - Whalen Shift Machine. I had an extra one so I have installed it in my 318ti. Does anyone else at 318ti use the WSM? Greatest shift knob ever made.
Here are the pix of my 318ti. In them you can see the exterior is very stock. The interior shows the new three-spoke M wheel I installed with the customized wheel tabs to match the interior, the CD43 I installed with the iPod connector running through the glove box (DICE connection) and the Whalen Shift Knob. I am very excited to see my son's face when he he sees the car and realizes he gets to take it to college in the fall.
