interior light auto on

Does anyone know if its possible to get the interior lights to come on when i unlock the car?
I had this feature in my e36 saloon and it was much appreciated when approaching the car at night and wondered if it would be a simple job to get it working on my ti.

Indeed , does any ones ti actually do this?

mine does

on unlocking i think mine comes on?..

i know it stays on until i lock it, and then slowly fades out.

Mine comes on when I unlock the door with the Keyless entry or the key.

Maybe its a feature with the lighting control box and having keyless entry...??

It turns on when u unlock the car when u set the switch in the middle position. so when u unlock it by key or keyless entry itll turn on regardless if its day or night. all the interior lighting should work unless they are blown out.
if it doesnt work i would assume ya have a faulty switch.

Mine just come on when i open the door. I will have to check the switch position. I have an alarm (clifford) which does the central locking.

PDX, is the light box you mentioned, part of oyur keyless entry or is it standard fit?
