Superchargers are ok but take power from your crank to make boost. Turbo is the way to go. Looks like we might have some complete custom turbo kits soon by angus. Superchargers make maybe 2-3 psi boost at 2,500rpm and the turbo will make full boost by 2,500rpm...Trust me there is a big difference in turbo and supercharger HP and Torque and turbos always win | | | 08-30-2011, 01:03 AM | #5 | Member Join Date: Jul 2011 Location: okc Posts: 37 | As long as you dont slap on a bigger turbo which there isnt much room to slap a big turbo on lag will be minimal. Its all about finding the right setup for what your wanting when it comes to turbos. | | | 08-30-2011, 02:21 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: Gulfport, Florida Posts: 3,208 | I run a big turbo 70/63 and spool at 2,800 and I'm all in by 3,200. I can run up to 30psi by 3,500. Trust me a turbo will kick you in the butt real hard when it spools There is nothing like major boost hitting hard. | | | 08-30-2011, 02:22 AM | #7 | Member Join Date: Jul 2011 Location: okc Posts: 37 | That .63 hotside helps with your spool i am sure | | | 08-30-2011, 08:54 PM | #8 | That's not Millpoint Blue Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: BNA Posts: 3,161 | Quote: Originally Posted by xxxJohnBoyxxx There is nothing like major boost hitting hard. | That's what she said. __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH!
