You said that you tried everything - you did check for voltage at the starter, as well as test the starter off the vehicle? I know those are fairly elementary, but the term "intermittent" arouses suspicion. Electronics tend to be the most reliable assemblies on a car. I don't know much about the EWS system, but if parts of it are associated with the gauge cluster, I would look for bad solder joints on the board in the cluster, and maybe bad connectors from the key ring on. |
