Not cheap, but real easy. There's no guarantee that this will fix the problem, but if you have to do it anyway . . . you still have to do it. When's the last time you changed the fuel filter? Since you're under there it might be a wise idea as well. If that's not the problem, I'd take it to a competent mechanic. Could be an issue within the intake manifold itself, or a fuel delivery problem. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | 11-11-2005, 10:45 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2004 Location: Florida Posts: 160 | Check the O2 connection 1st and then replace that O2... because it is never that easy when it's a $120.00 part. but you should know that some spark plugs work against the quelch(?) (sweat burn spot) of each piston. I use the factory plugs (Bosch +2), but of course they are purchased at Pep-Boys Auto Parts store which is 1/3 the factory cost. The wrong plugs can cause a high RPM missing. I agree with the fuel filter. Just change it! You may have a malfunctioning valve on the variable intake runner system. As for the speed sensor, They rarely go bad, it's usually the connections corroding. Good luck.
