Default handglaze caused discoloration

hey everyone. im new, so no mocking...
i have a red 318ti and absolutely LOVE it. my dad has a 528it, and my sister has a 325i. naturally, the sister is the problem. she's in the process of selling it and wanted to make it look good by using hand glaze. however, she applied it in nearly 100% humidity. now the WHITE paint looks kind of muddy. it won't properly buff out due to the weather (we tried to warn her...). any suggestions??

I don't know what product you used, but Meguiar's #7 Mirror Glaze show car glaze does not dry white, but fills in slight imperfections. A newer product, their Ultimate Polish, is a pre-waxing glaze that eliminates fine swirl marks and fills a bit.
You should be able to remove the residue with a 50/50 mix of water and isopropyl alcohol.
Good luck!

she used 3m imperial hand glaze. it works perfectly on my red paint - then again i always use it when it's around 40-50% humidity (in the south, it doesn't get much better). thanks so much - i'll try that out!
