Default Need New Struts

I am at 130k miles on my 98ti and need new struts. I do not track the car and only use it to commute. Any suggestions for good prices and brands? Should I have to do the springs, as well?
Also, should I consider doing the rear shocks at the same time?

Stock?

What kind of ride are you looking for?

Springs are something that need changed ONLY if they are cracked OR if you want to change the ride quality. If not, you may still want to swap out the rubber bumpers and such while they're out.

You don't have to swap the rears, but it's not a bad idea. They're probably shot.

So for daily driving,,, And I'm sure thisl stir things up.
KYB.

I've used them on quite a few cars and if you don't track the car they work great.
I find they pump up on the stress of track driving and get uneven but other than that they are great. $$ wise if you don't like them tossem, they are fairly cheap compared to Koni's or Bilsteins.

for stock ride i say go with Bilstein Touring. your springs should be fine. how long have you had the car? over time the springs will have sagged but they shouldn't really be an issue.

bushings/bearings are consumables in my book. while you are changing the struts/shocks out, be sure to change out your rear shock mounts as well as the front strut mounts/bearings/hats. over the years your bump stops might have corroded as well. wouldnt hurt to change those out.

might as well change things while the assembly is apart.
