Default Best Way to run Power for amp?

whats the easiest way to run a 0 guage power wire for an amp. im new to the 318ti and im not sure if there is a power source i can safely tap into in the trunk or if i have to run a wire from the battery. I have managed to succesfully run my RCA cables and remote wires cleanly but i thought i might save my self the trouble of drilling through my fire wall if at all neccesary.

I'm pretty sure there isn't a power source in the hatch. When my friend and I hooked up my system a few years back, we ran the RCA cables on the driver's side of the car and the power cable on the passenger's side. If you look down when you open each of the doors, you should see these long plastic pieces that you can pop off and stuff the wires underneath.

And if I recall correctly, we didn't have to drill any holes in the firewall. I think there are pre-drilled holes on both the driver's and passenger's side. I am not 100% sure on this, but the next time I go to my car I'll check it out for you.

Good Luck.

Thank you BostonGreenti. I just finished hooking up my system with no professional help. I ran the rca's on the drivers side and when i removed the plastic piece from the pasengers side to run the power wire there was a very convienent hole that came out right by the battery. If anyone needs any help with their system feel free to contact me and i will help as much as possible.
