What's up with you wise guys throwing out the "search" response all the time?? Is there some kind of reward for being a smart-ass?? In the time it takes to type a smart ass answer you could actually type something useful and make this forum a place people would want to hang out. And for what it's worth I DID look around before I posted because I knew some idiot would throw the "search" comment out. Sheesh! __________________ | | | 08-01-2010, 05:29 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Elizabeth City, NC Posts: 3,877 | It's quite obvious that you didn't search. All you have to do is type "oil filter tool" into the google box at the left and lots of threads will appear with the answer. __________________ ~Dave~ 98 328ti Morea Grun slicktop 11 128i space gray slicktop 13 JGC WK2 Deep Cherry Search | RealOEM | | | 08-01-2010, 06:05 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: Gilbert Posts: 621 | just use a damn channel lock. mission accomplished. but searching and not giving attitude about us insisting you search would have been easier. __________________ *IF ITS FAST AND CHEAP, ITS NOT RELIABLE* *IF ITS CHEAP AND RELIABLE, ITS NOT FAST* *IF ITS FAST AND RELIABLE, ITS NOT CHEAP* | | | 08-01-2010, 02:36 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2010 Location: Lancaster PA Posts: 274 | For me, it was the exact same cap type tool that has a 3/8 socket adapter that works on my 03 VW TDI's. I got mine from bavauto but I'm sure you can get it at Oreilly's, Advance, etc. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
