Ok, I found a set of cheap coilovers, but will the coilovers for a regular e36 work on the ti? I know there's a difference in spring rate (we've been through that before, that regular shox and sprangs aren't the same as the ones on the ti). Would the same rule go with coilovers? Or are coilovers really what I want? I want to lower the car without burning up the credit card or screwing the car up down the road. | | | 09-30-2004, 11:32 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Tyler, TX Posts: 1,022 | The coil overs from the regular E36 will not work on the ti. I am looking at getting a set of coilovers simply because you can adjust ride height with them, and I don't want to get a set of springs and not be happy with the ride height after shelling out money for them. | | | 09-30-2004, 11:52 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: Columbia, SC Posts: 528 | That's what I was afraid of. Damn you regular e36's! | | | 10-01-2004, 12:26 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Tyler, TX Posts: 1,022 | I know over at BFC they just had a group buy for the HR Cupkit and I believe there is going to be another one within the next few months so you may want to look into that. Does anyone have any thoughts on the Cup Kit? Is it any good or should I look elsewhere? | | | 10-01-2004, 05:34 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: Columbia, SC Posts: 528 | What's this BFC that you speak of? | | | 10-01-2004, 06:38 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Tyler, TX Posts: 1,022 | Quote: Originally Posted by gooten1 What's this BFC that you speak of? | bimmerforums.com | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
