How to check the left wing mirror?

The left wing electronic mirror doesn't work, but the right one is good.
So I wanna check what is wrong, the button? the wire? or the motor.

How Can I open it? thank you.

The switch for the mirrors is removed with a small flat head screw driver. Pop it out, check for damage, and clean the contacts. Next you can pop the panel off, located at the top of the door panel behind the mirror, the connector to the mirror is right there. Make sure its plugged in. If so, you may need to take the mirror off to pop the glass out, or just pop it off while its on the car. Check and make sure the wires in there arent damaged.

Sorry, i have no pics...you can always pick up a bentley or haynes manual that will show you how its done.

Judging by how the wires work their way out of the door and into the mirror.. it is probably a disconnection inside the door panal. Somebody probably pulled the panal, accidently disconnected the mirror wires, and then put it back on.
