If it's pretty worn, I suggest getting two new tires, preferrably of the same brand and type as the other two, but not necessarily. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | 04-19-2007, 05:47 PM | #4 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | Just find the puncture, if it's a screw or nail remove it. Then go to Autozone buy a plug kit and follow the easy two minute instructions. Inflate your tire and you're good to go. No need to buy a new tire if your old one still has tread left. | | | 04-19-2007, 05:49 PM | #5 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | BTW most reputable tire shops will repair your flat for free, regardless of where you purchased your tire from. They'll just plug it like I mentioned above and usually won't charge anything because it's such an easy job. | | | 04-19-2007, 06:38 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Quote: Originally Posted by dakefeng just saw it, left front tire. no backup tire, complicate job occurs.. what should I buy? could you please give me advices? | No baby spare? __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 04-20-2007, 04:36 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: state college, pa Posts: 3,431 | Quote: Originally Posted by 1996 328ti No baby spare? | I think it was missing when he bought it. dakefeng, consider yourself lucky it's only a flat. Today I had a spring (left front) shoot out of the Benz 150 miles from home. About 12 hours later, I'm finally home. Tomorrow, I'm making the 10 hour drive even if it kills me. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
