Default OK Would this fit???

Would This piece fit? I know that I would need to wire up the temp sens, but what else is needed? Or should I just put a VDO Oil Pressure in the clocks spot?

Thanks Guys and Gals

You need the wiring harness and a new stalk at the very least.

Thanks. I figured it would be a bit involved, but I also knew that BMW prewired a fair amount of options in the car.

On the contrary. BMWs have very little prewired. Assemblies needed are installed at the factory.

Well, I was misinformed. Thanks again. I am just trying to build up some creature comforts in my bare 318. I am pretty skilled at pulling cars apart and putting them back together, but still a noob with the bimmers. Any suggestions?

If you can install the factory fog light kit per the instructions you are a 3 banana BMW shade tree howler monkey. If they work and did it in one day you get 4 bananas.

Contrary to popular belief, BMWs are much like other cars. You may need special tools or be a little more careful prying things apart, but they work just like other cars.

L84THSKY was retrofitting the OBC last I recall. He may have part #s and installation guides for the wiring harness.

Only US E36 lights suck. Euro are marginally better.
