trying to crank my swap, I have followed the 4 to 6 cly swap guide to the teeth. already cut EWS wire #7 and bridged wires 1&3 on the EWS box. people are also telling me I need to bypass my EWS through a chip in the ECU. I have found multiple chips for sale for the m50b25 non vanos and I wanted to make sure this would help rather than hurt.

I thought the wire to snip is #66? That could be only with a 413 ECU, however... All my experience is with M50 Vanos w/413, so take my advice with that in minde.
The fuel pump may not engage until the engine is actually turning, so you may be looking in the wrong place.

that's what I thought. I am going to triple check the fuel lines in the morning and check and see if I have fuel through any of them..

Should I have the FPR on the RAIL or under the car? I have been finding some threads where people are being told to remove it completely...?
Also, any one have a thread on how the fuel lines are hooked up under the car with the FPR under there with it?

I wish I could be more help, but my knowledge is sparse with the OBDII engine into an OBDI chassis...
I suspect the DME is not sending the signal to pump fuel, due to the EWSII.
As for the FPR, one or the other, not both.
