 New to 318.org
Hello everyone. My wife and I were searching for a used car for our son Zach. It was one disappointment after the next until we found a 1998 318 ti. Went to look at it yesterday (90K miles) and gave the owner a down payment. Will pick it up Wednesday. Don't know a thing about BMW's but I think my knowledge on vehicles is good enough to know the difference between a used vehicle that has been neglected vs one that has been well cared for/maintained. The exterior and interior of the car is great including paint, engine bay, undercarriage, leather seats, headliner, no cracks or blemishes anywhere in the interior. Original owner had the car garaged as well as the second owner (guy we're buying it from) and it shows. Engine runs smooth & the auto trans shifts very smooth. All electrical components appear to be working. I am not naïve though, after all it is a 17 yr old car. Anyway, glad to have found this site. I've read a few threads and some very knowledgeable folks here. Thanks in advance! |
