Default Where did you buy your Bilsteins from?

All bilsteins being the same, there is very high price elasticity.

I think the best prices are at shox.com, but there may be others. I've had good service the last time I purchased some koni's there...

Other options?

I just bought some for my other car on eBay. The seller was Weathertech (the guys that make the mats). They were cheaper by far than anywhere else. It was $205 shipped for the two front sports. Next cheapest after that is www.bavauto.com at $229 shipped.

Edit: I just noticed you're in Canada. The eBay seller only ships to the lower 48 US. Got any friends in Vermont?

+1

Bought struts, shocks and springs, front and rear, from him. Fast shipping, H&R Sport springs shipped from Indiana (TireRack distribution?) and Bilstein Sport shocks from New Jersey. Asked him for a group buy price, even though the group buy was several months past.

Also bought the suspension install package from Understeer (95bimmer?), another member here on the board. You can get cheaper prices for the individual parts, but I wanted the convenience rather than the runaround involved in locating every part I needed. How are your RSMs? Might want to do them while you're poking around in that area.

I do have friends I could ship to upstate New York.

I looked up on the Bavauto website and the prices are 165 *2 (front) + 79 * 2 (rear).

Here's a link to their eBay store. Strangely, it's completely empty right now.

http://stores.ebay.com/WeatherTech-MacNeil-Automotive

You might want to try contacting them and see if they have them or can get them for you.
