There is someone selling some wheels I want in the south orange county (irvine) area. They don't want to ship. However, the wheels are at a decent enough price that even though there's little thread left, I'd be willing to buy them and run as is until time for my winter set then swap to new tires next year. Anyway, the request. Anyone in the area willing to pickup the wheels and ship them for me? Greyhound package express quotes me around $40 a wheel. I'd pay you up front the shipping cost + some extra for your time. Thanks in advance. | | | 06-19-2008, 05:38 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | wish i could! not near me though. what wheels and how much? __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 06-19-2008, 05:55 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Pittsburgh, PA Posts: 1,224 | style 68s . . . if i'm lucky, $200 picked up. | | | 06-19-2008, 06:06 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | nice! __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 06-19-2008, 06:34 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: LA, Bellflower, CA Posts: 3,613 | maybe. but the only time i have off is next week. and plus i dont even know how to go about shipping them. :-/ (edit: you're talking about irvine, ca right? cuz its about 2 hrs away from me with traffic. ) __________________ -Theta Chi- Float like a cadilac, sting like a BIMMER .... my socket is just too thick and won't fit in the hole! damnit! You just bring them the wheels, fill out paperwork, and that should be it. Some bubblewrapping of the wheels may be necessary. Lake Forest CA is a bit more exact for the location, but yeah, right around Irvine CA. | | | 06-19-2008, 07:50 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Quad Cities, Iowa Posts: 2,110 | Man that is a great deal, hope you get em. __________________ "Drive Fast and Take Chances" | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
