Default Dbilas Dynamic ITB for M42

Found this pic of an individual throttle body for the M42 http://www.esatclear.ie/~bpurcell/m42wow.jpg
Here is a link to Dbilas Dynamic http://www.dbilas-dynamic.de/English/dbilas.html The company is in Germany. Just thought I would post this, an alternative to the one sold by BMP design.

not sure how much the BMP one is, but keep in mind these dbilas prices are in euros, ouch! they have a "non TUV" version for the m44 too.

I calculated it earlier, the M42 version of 1453.09 euros is $1882.48. But if it comes as pictured on the car I posted, it might be better than the BMP because it has all the fittings to hook up to the stock airbox. This might be a good alternative with a fogged airbox. The M42, M44 ITB from BMP Design is $1895.95 in their latest catalog and has a cone filter right next to the engine, so this dbilas system is the better deal if you want to keep your airbox. Just thought I would show this because some people, I for one, would rather go this route with cams, chip, and lightweight flywheel rather than forced induction.

I have decided to go with step IV, it will take some time to get all the money together because I still have some other mods in mind. But I expect everything to be installed next year, and I hope to get more then 200HP

I know it's a lot of money and that the DASC is much cheaper, but forced induction (turbo/supercharger) on a NA engine is forbidden in Belgium and so is engine swap.

Wow, I'm liking those cam prices. I may have to look into that.

Or just put a fat turbo system in it like Mosselman Garret T25 setup and **** all laws and rules in Belgium

Aint that right FuMa ? (I'm a forum-buddy of FuMa on Belgian BMW forums and currently giving the M42 a turbo-conversion )
