About 223,000 miles. $1750 or will consider offers The car is driven daily still. Just got back from a 5 hour trip and it drive well, gas mileage was 33mpg. The cali roof is from a 1998 car, it has the windscreen on it. The car was from NY, so it has had some rust repair in the past. It looks like the unibody channel had a welding repair. I know the jack points are rusted and gone. I have fixed the water leaks in the floor. The car is dry now. For additional questions, text or call at 404 819-6227 The car is in OKC now. I do have a few extra parts, alternator, spark plug wires from a 1996. I even have an extra battery, thanks to a misdiagnosis from a BMW dealer. Last edited by kcr97cali; 10-20-2018 at 02:40 PM. Hi, I am interested in this car, but since I'm in Virginia, I'd like to see more of the rust and repairs, as well as a picture of the engine bay please. | | | 10-02-2018, 06:47 PM | #3 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2014 Location: OKC, OK Posts: 28 | more pics and info The main problem area was behind the front tires, where water got into the unibody channel (I think that is what it is called). I used a fiberglass repair kit to close up those areas. From the interior floor, I also patched up the outer corners with the same fiberglass. The interior has been water free now since the repairs. Under the car, I thought the channel where the jack points were, had been replaced and welded years ago. I couldn't find that and the undercoating appears to be original. Here are pics of the engine and a few views under the car. | | | 10-02-2018, 06:50 PM | #4 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2014 Location: OKC, OK Posts: 28 | I sent the additional info and pictures to the main thread. And especially in moderate temps, with the cali roof back. Very pleasant. I am buying a truck and I don't need another insurance premium. | | | 10-08-2018, 02:59 AM | #7 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2014 Location: OKC, OK Posts: 28 | Price reduced The price for the 97 318ti with California roof is now $2200. | | | 03-22-2019, 12:20 AM | #8 | Member Join Date: Mar 2018 Location: Texas Posts: 66 | Still For Sale? | | | 06-15-2019, 04:35 PM | #9 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2014 Location: OKC, OK Posts: 28 | This car has been sold. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
