Default E46 Rear Shock Mounts

Anybody here do the E46 Rear Shock Mount upgrade?
I was just wondering if it would work on our cars because I know that the ti rear suspension is a little different from the other E36 cars.
I think i need new RSMs and yeah, might as well upgrade them.
and...If you did do this mod, what is the difficulty of installation?

Thanks guys

-Randy

Hey,
It's an excellent upgrade. I've done it and have had no problems even after track use. It is an easy install. Rear shocks on a ti are very easy to remove and replace. Here's the part # for the E46 RSMs #33 52 6 754 096.
Be sure to change the gaskets, the lock nuts holding the shock in the RSMs, as well as the self locking hex nuts that bolt the RSMS to the car body. Use loctite for the shock to arm mounting hex bolt .

Cheers,

You can also add reinforcements. I put those in when I upgraded my suspension and swapped out the RSMs.
