Get that 60' down, and with a little practice you should break 16s. Were you having any traction/bogging problems? | | | 04-11-2005, 03:31 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: madison, WI Posts: 402 | Quote: Originally Posted by GDB Not bad for you first time out. Were you having any traction/bogging problems? | everything but my reaction time was great, I had been practicing my launches all that week and I had brand new tires on the rear, uummhh I had a healthy amount of wheel spin but it wasnt too much and my shifts were all really good but I am happy with it. __________________ Mods: clear turn signals, Silverstar headlight bulbs, k&N custom CAI, removed A/C, lightened crank pulley, painted brakes, custom clutch stop, custom strut bar, x-brace, custom solid tranny mounts, Memphis sound system, Sachs sport clutch, B&M short shifter, lightened flywheel, redline MTL .... It is very intimidating. I believe I can break into 15's because my launches were terrible. I spun the tires through 1st. I can get way more traction on the street. The best I got was 14.65 @ 95.4 mph. I couldnt get any traction at all. I was spinning on 1st and 2nd even without dumping the clutch. I was letting go at 2500rpm. I think i need some radial drags. I got some vids but im trying to figure out how to extract it from my digital cam. Hope to learn it by this weekend. Hopefully get it on the net for you guys to see what the m3 swap can do. | | | 06-09-2005, 05:46 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: madison, WI Posts: 402 | Quote: Originally Posted by AlaskaBlue I went to the strip for the first time ever today. This was my very first track run. I believe i ran a mid 15 spinning on first. http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...ZmQzMXk1NDE%3D 2nd vid I ran against SRT4. Check it out, what you guys think? my best run 14.65. I need better tires. Cant get any traction on the launch even at 2k - 2500 launch. Still spinning til end of 2nd. http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...ZmQzMXk1NDE%3D | | | 06-11-2005, 06:06 AM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: madison, WI Posts: 402 | Quote: Originally Posted by Dredder Heres my vids. I started @ 32psi. I'll the the launch down and hopefully break into 13s. Once I get my financial situation stabilized then Im getting a pair of Street legal radial drags.
